Preliminary rarefaction blocks named ELMO-BV vacuum blocks made on the base of vacuum pumps with the closed lubrication loop. Vacuum pumps are rotary blade fan centrifugal pumps with a rotor on roller bearing, a flange electric motor and automatic lube system. Vacuum pumps have low mass, sizes and power consumption.
ELMO-BV blocks have a reliable mechanical construction and simple technical service. They are noiseless, with the low level of vibration and air-cooling.
ELMO-BV blocks are intended for exploitation in the wide temperature range of environment and adapted for round-the-clock work.
ELMO-BV vacuum blocks are in use in flowsheets, being all-sufficient equipment and can be used as vacuum pumps of the preliminary rarefaction coupled with Roots type vacuum pumps incorporating two-lobed rotors.

 

 

ELMO-BV vacuum blocks are intended for vacuum degassing tanks of power transformers in voltage range from 110 to 1150 kV, which withstand residual pressure 50 Pa (0,5 mm of mercury column), during installation and repair of them.
Using ELMO-BV vacuum blocks for transformers’ tanks which don’t withstand residual pressure 50 Pа is possible after strengthening of them in legal agreement with their plant-manufacturer.

ELMO-BV vacuum blocks are made in a protective metallic container with removable wheels allowing moving blocks on hard even surfaces easily.
There are 4 ring-bolt placed on the top for loading and unloading by a crane and 2 slots in the bottom for an autoloader's work. 

 

         suction line with a valve and protective filter are placed on the left above;
         air-cooled vacuum pump is placed on the left below;
         control panel is placed on the right above.
